We popped in for lunch while visiting Dalbeattie. We dined in the bar with our dog. The food was good, hot and plentiful and service was great. It was amazing value for money on the lunch set menu; three dishes and three drinks for £23. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic food that's really tasty. You can tell it's lovely & fresh. Polite friendly staff, we used the online ordering system then collected it. This was our first order and it most certainly won't be our last..yum yum

We visited here on a trip to Dalbeattie, Friday night. The restaurant is in a pub (The Ship Inn). It was very quiet and there was only us, and 1 other table - but lots of takeaway orders. The staff were so friendly, chatting to us about the history of the pub and how it became half a Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious - best Chinese food I’ve had in ages! I’d do the 4hr drive just to eat here again. The salt and chilli chips are divine! The restaurant itself is a bit dated but I think it just adds to the charm of the place. The only thing I’d possibly suggest is maybe tidying up the exterior a bit at the front - lots of dead plants and rubbish here and there. Other than that it was a lovely meal. Will definitely return if I’m in the area again!

We got 6 things of the amazing menu What a value for money and omg the taste was to die for with all the amazing flavours The guy who served us was polite, really funny and super helpful I'd highly recommend to go here one of the best Chinese we've had in a long time and we are foodies

Visited for a meal whist working in the area having seen the reviews on Google. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Great staff who made us feel very welcome. Fantastic choice of food. The beer was great and when our order came is was freshly cooked with quality ingredients. The dishes tasted fabulous. Best Chinese food I've had in many years. We will be returning in a couple of weeks when next working in the area. Great value too. Eat in or take out .... Highly recommended.
